Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail(1ML+1ML,100X )

Cat.No.:

IC-7903

Product Information

Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail protects phosphoproteins from serine/threonine phosphatases,Acid phosphatases, Alkaline phosphatases,Chromatin/Epigenetics,Protein Ser/Thr Phosphatases, phosphoprotein phosphatases  and protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTPs).

• Convenient¡ªthe refrigerator-stable, 100X liquid format is more effective and easier to use than individual inhibitors or other formats; just pipette exactly the amount you need
• No proprietary ingredients¡ªfully disclosed formulation contains optimized concentrations of 8 broad-spectrum Phosphatase inhibitors ,including Sodium Fluoride£¬Sodium Orthovanadate£¬Sodium Molybdate£¬Sodium Tartrate£¬Imidazole£¬Sodium Pyrophosphate, decahydrate£¬b-Glycerophosphate£¬Cantharidin.
• Multiple package sizes¡ªchoose among several package sizes, including single-use microtubes that keep Phosphatase  inhibitors fresh and reduce the risk of reagent contamination.
• Lysis buffer compatible¡ªuse with RIPA Lysis, NP40 ,IP Lysis Buffers or nearly any other commercial or homemade detergent-based lysis reagent.

Applications

WB,IP,ChIP,Co-IP,pull-down,IF,IHC,Kinase Assay.

• Protection of intact, active cellular proteins from degradation by endogenous Phosphatase.
• Inhibition of  Phosphatase activity from lysates produced by a variety of methods including  RIPA Lysis Reagents, other commercially formulated cell or tissue lysis products, sonication, French press, blender homogenization or repetitive freeze/thaw cycling.
• Screening of extracts for proteolytic activity.
• The study of proteolysis in the regulation of cellular processes.

Usage Information

• Add 10 ¦ÌL IC-7903-1  of concentrated cocktail per 1 mL , and then adding 10 ¦ÌL IC-7903-2  of concentrated cocktail per 1 mL of  lysis buffer to ensure complete protection of the resulting protein extract.
• The single-use format is ideal for small-scale cell lysis experiments, where each 100 ¦ÌL(IC-7903-1 and IC-7903-2) vial provides just what is needed for a 10 mL sample and there is no risk of contaminating or degrading remaining aliquots of cocktail.
• Each microtube in the strip is heat-sealed with a foil that can be easily punctured by a pipette tip for trouble-free access to a precise amount of  Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail needed for each experiment.

Product BackGround

Protein phosphorylation is an important covalent posttranslational modification that changes the conformation of proteins and regulates the function, location and specific binding of target proteins. Many cellular processes are regulated by reversible phosphorylation of proteins, and 30% of proteins may be phosphorylated in their presence.
Due to the balance of endogenous protein production and degradation, its cell level is stable under stable environmental conditions. The crude cell extract contains many endogenous enzymes, such as phosphatase and protease, which degrade and alter the proteins in the extract. The best way to increase complete protein production is to add inhibitors of these enzymes.
More inhibitors mean better phosphorylation protection. We offer two tubes of inhibitors with different solution forms
to help you better inhibit phosphatase.
