Recombinant Human CXCL10 / IP-10, CYT-P02778

Product Introduction

Human C-X-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 10 (CXCL10), also known as IP-10 (10 kDa interferon gamma-induced protein), is a non-ELR chemokine secreted by various cell types, such as monocytes, endothelial cells, and fibroblasts, in response to IFN-¦Ã. CXCL10 functions via the chemokine receptor CXCR3. CXCL10 has been attributed to several roles, including chemoattraction for activated T-lymphocytes, inhibition of angiogenesis, and antitumor activity.

Product Features

1. High Purity: Greater than 95% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.

2. Verified Binding Activity: Immobilized Recombinant Human CXCL10 at 2 µg/mL (100 µL/well) can bind Human CXCL10 Antibody (Eldelumab, Research Grade) with an ED50 of 7.57 ng/mL (regularly tested).

3. E. coli Expression: Produced in an E. coli expression system with the target gene encoding Val22-Pro98.

4. Low Endotoxin: <1 EU/µg as determined by LAL test.

5. Lyophilized Powder: Supplied as a lyophilized powder for convenient storage and handling.

Storage and Stability

Shipping Conditions: Shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store immediately at the temperature listed below.

Storage Conditions:

- Lyophilized protein: Store at ¡Ü -20¡ãC, stable for one year after receipt.

- Reconstituted protein solution: Store at 2-8¡ãC for 2-7 days.

- Aliquots of reconstituted samples: Stable at ¡Ü -20¡ãC for 3 months.

Protocol (For Reference Only)

Important: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 µg/mL.

1. Reconstitution: Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Allow to dissolve completely with gentle mixing; do not vortex.

2. Aliquoting: Aliquot the reconstituted solution into single-use volumes to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

3. Storage: Store aliquots at ¡Ü -20¡ãC for up to 3 months. Reconstituted solution may be stored at 2-8¡ãC for 2-7 days.

4. Binding Assay: Immobilized Recombinant Human CXCL10 at 2 µg/mL (100 µL/well) can bind Human CXCL10 Antibody with an ED50 of 7.57 ng/mL.

5. Working Concentration: Optimal working concentrations should be determined empirically for each cell type and experimental system.

Precautions

1. Always centrifuge tubes before opening.

2. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting; gentle inversion or swirling is recommended.

3. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 µg/mL to avoid protein loss.

4. Aliquot reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

5. For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.

FAQ (Simplified)

Q1: What is the biological function of CXCL10?

A1: CXCL10 functions via CXCR3 and mediates chemoattraction of activated T-lymphocytes, inhibition of angiogenesis, and antitumor activity.

Q2: How should I reconstitute this protein?

A2: Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water to a concentration of at least 100 µg/mL. Do not vortex or pipette vigorously.

Q3: How should I store the reconstituted protein?

A3: Reconstituted solution can be stored at 2-8¡ãC for 2-7 days. For longer storage, aliquot and store at ¡Ü -20¡ãC for up to 3 months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Q4: What is the endotoxin level?

A4: <1 EU/µg as determined by LAL test.

Disclaimer
