1M Hepes(pH7.2- 7.4)IC-1329

Description

HEPES (N-2-hydroxyethylpiperazin-N-2-ethanesulfonic acid) is a zwitterionic organic chemical buffer commonly used in cell culture media. When it is necessary to process cell culture outside the CO2 incubator for a long time, adding 10-25 mM HEPES can provide additional buffering capacity. HEPES has advantages such as membrane impermeability, limited impact on biochemical reactions, chemical and enzymatic stability, and extremely low visible and ultraviolet absorbance, making it a good buffering choice for many cell culture systems.

Specificity

The final concentration of sodium pyruvate used in most cell culture media is 1x.

Storage

Store at -20¡ãC for 1 year. Please avoid repeated freezing and thawing. It is recommended to use in separate packages.
